Rajana Society recruits support
At the beginning of winter quarter, the Rajana Society officially became the newest registered-student organization on campus. A group of inspired and motivated Khmer (Cambodian) students, whose voices and interests are usually underrepresented among Asian groups at UW, comprise the organization.
Seniors Phatry Pan, president of the organization, and Sreymom Serey, co-vice president, initiated the creation of the Rajana Society within the small Khmer community to bring ideas together. In the Khmer language, "rajana" means artistically creative.
