Giant Steps chronicles war-torn Cambodia's struggle to come back to life through courage, hope and the power of dance. The film is produced by students in Chapman University's new inter-disciplinary international documentary program led by Professor Jeff Swimmer. This program sends students around the world with cameras to profile leading human rights and development organizations. Participating students are from Dodge College of Film and Media Arts, School of Law and Wilkinson College of Humanities and Social Sciences. The screening will be followed by a question and answer with the student filmmakers and reception with live Cambodian music.
